People were accepted unconditionally, regardless of their ancestry, social status or their personal situation in life. People gave freely to each other according to their need. People were real with each other, nothing to fear, and relationships mattered.
The scene was the first century a.d. - the early days of Christianity, the defining of church.
Church: a word that has been around for thousands of years, with so many meanings to different people.
At h2o, we believe that church is about people...it's about you. So we accept you just as you are, and embrace the questions, doubts and struggles that you bring with you.
We dream of that old picture of church being recaptured right here at The Ohio State University. A home for those searching for family. A community where caricatures of Christ are blown away and replaced by truth. A training ground for the next generation of leaders to change the world. A church where men and women get a glimpse of God's heart for the world, and are invited to be a part in it.
Why? because God is real and he cares about people; he cares about you, so we do too.
